Nina De Heney and Qarin Wikström are both, in their own movements and vibrations, acclaimed profiles on the Scandinavian experimental music scene.Nina and Qarin began their collaboration five years ago, and they immediately recognised that their interaction was both sensitive and direct. They both possess an uncompromising musicality, deeply personal expressions, and together they also have a responsive and sensitive interplay.

p, The Rosehips, make their own interpretation of avant-garde poeten och feministen Gertrude Stein´s book, Portraits and Prayers with live performance, installation, music, and visual projections
Portraits and Prayers is a collection of Stein´s early essays and word- portraits written in 1934 of her observations of her guests at her Saturday salong in Paris.
The Rosehips: Portraits and Prayers
The performance group “The Rosehips” musically interpret texts by the avant-garde poet and playwright Gertrude Stein´s (1874-1946) book “Portraits and Prayers”
The Rosehips,in their distinctive interdisciplinary way, present these portraits in concert form with performance,music and art installations.
This is The Rosehips third presentation of Gertrude Stein´s writings where text is treated based on musicality, rather than their conventional content. Gertrude Stein´s works are a genuine american artistic expression rarely seen or heard in Scandinavia.

Permanenta musiker som driver BrÖtz har även de CD´s till salu. Mycket bra musik att roa sig med under tiden för den långa väntan till nästkommande veckas BrÖtz.
