Katu Kaiku is a contemporary jazz trio from Finland formed in 2013, which inhabits the borderlands between musical genres, mixing modern jazz with progressive rock and pop elements.
Bands latest album Luna (2019, Svart Records) received great reviews and the group toured in many countries in Europe such as Scandinavia, Estonia, Latvia, Holland and Germany. Their third album was recorded in May 2021 and will be released in 2022.

Emmeluth’s Amoeba is a groundbreaking Danish/Norwegian quartet consisting of four of the most exciting musicians on the Scandinavian scene right now. The group has toured extensively for the past 4 years, including live concerts at Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Nattjazz (Bergen jazz festival), Summer Bummer Festival (Antwerp) to name a few. With creative music that moves through characters of free jazz to chamber music like shapes with fierce energy it is hard to be left untouched.
Pianist Christian Balvig has made a mark both as a musician leading his own group and playing with the colossal danish supergroup Efterklang as well as composing music for large orchestras such as Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra.
Guitarist Karl Bjorå is a strong voice on the scene of improvised music and has recorded and toured extensively with his own groups Megalodon Collective, Yes Deer and Aperture for years all around Europe, USA and Asia.
Drummer Ole Mofjell is a force of nature, playing with Thurston Moore in duo format, as well as touring with ECM recording legends Jon Balke and Norwegian Powerhouse guitarist Hedvig Mollestad
Last but not least, leader and main composer for Emmeluth’s Amoeba, Signe Emmeluth has made a strong imprint on the scene during the last 5 years, playing with Kresten Osgood as well as being a part of Trondheim Jazzorkester, and Gard Nilssen’s Supersonic Orchestra.

Hannah-Christina Nebosis: Live Painting
Hannah-Christina Nebosis (Vienna, AT) will perform a large-scale live painting inspired by the music. Only her shadow and the painting in process of being created are visible to the audience. The artist is painting behind the scrim. The visibility of the painting results from the use of strongly diluted paint and the illumination from the rear.
Nebosis works as a freelance artist in the areas of fine arts, live painting, performance, literature and architectural art. She is currently spending an artist-residency at Konstepidemin in Gothenburg and is looking for live painting collaborations with local musicians of different genres.
